I don’t know about you all, but I get so frustrated when something I have had my eye on sells out super fast and never gets re-stocked. Over the past few years, I have learned to turn to eBay to find those type of items (from fashion to home decor and electronics, etc.) that I haven’t been able to find in stock anywhere else. One of my best friends is an eBay guru and has taught me all her tips and tricks along the way so I am excited to share them with you all here!
This Lilly Pulitzer Fringe Cardigan is the softest and most amazing piece for every day wear and travel. I picked it up ages ago and have had so many people ask me where it is from and I always feel bad telling them that it has since sold out. Fast forward a few months, my girlfriend was dying to get her hands on one and I decided to put my eBay skills to use. While it helps to have the exact name of the item you are looking for, you can also search a more general term, like “Lilly Pulitzer Fringe Sweater” and multiple results will pop up, which often include what you are looking for. I try and look for NWT (new with tag) items first, as you know they will be the best quality. This is usually easy to find because more than 80% of the items sold on eBay are actually brand new. Nevertheless, make sure you read any reviews and look at the sellers score (the closer to 100% the better). In addition, if they are only providing “stock photos” make sure you request photos of the actual product before placing your order. This way you will know exactly what you are paying for! Overall, have fun, use your best auction/negotiating skills and score some fun items for your everyday lifestyle and home!
