Whether you are located on the East Coast or West, my hope behind this post is to create two looks that can inspire you wherever you may be for the holiday season! Using four main pieces from J.Crew Factory, I wanted to show how versatile each is and how to style them two different ways.
For you warmer climate ladies, you know by now one of my favorite tricks of the trade is to toss a sweater over a shirt dress for an extra layered look. J.Crew Factory has so many great knits this season and at such an affordable price point. While I prefer the classic feel of this camel turtleneck, I also love the ruffle detail on this one. When styling a sweater over a dress, it is important to size up one for a more oversized feel. If you are on the East Coast and your dress days are numbered (at lease for now), pairing this top and coat with cuffed boyfriend denim is another great option. By cuffing your denim ,you allow the focus to remain on these adorable tassel flats.
Depending on your Thanksgiving plans, both of these outfits could work great, allowing you to be put together but not too dressed up. As you can see in these photos, I decided to wear this outfit to check out the holiday shops in Bryant Park – it was perfect for walking around and feeling festive!
