When summer rolls around I find myself going straight from work to play, often not stopping home in between. I call it my warm weather syndrome, so have tried to become more strategic when dressing in the morning and wearing something that can transition throughout the day. This pom-pom shift dress from Banana Republic is the perfect option for numerous occasions.
I am 5’5 and this dress falls a little above my knee which is perfect for a day filled with meetings and a more professional environment. When 5 o’clock rolls around and it’s time to meet up with Matt or friends, I quickly add either a skinny belt (or in this case I tied a shoe string) to style the dress and shorten it a bit, making my look more fun and flirty. The best part is I didn’t even have to change my shoes or accessories to transform my look from day to night!
