HOW TO STYLE CHAMBRAY TWO WAYS
April 13, 2017

I am pretty confident, that almost everyone can find something chambray hanging in their closet. It is a versatile material that can easily be dressed up or down and worn year round. For years now, chambray shirts have been some of my favorite things to style. Recently, I had the opportunity to team up with Macy’s and Sanctuary to style some pieces for spring and I thought it would be fun to take two similar, but different items and share one of the many ways I would wear each piece.

When it comes to a solid dress, I love that this one in particular has pockets, ruffle detailing and tie sleeves, adding a bit of variety to your typical sundress. I am a big fan of adding some accessories to compliment and finish a look, and I loved pairing a wide brim hat with this dress for a more casual vibe. The chambray tank also had ruffle detailing and is more of a box cut fit, so I paired fitted pants and heels with my everyday tote to pull the look together.

This chambray material is extremely soft and comfortable on your skin. Both pieces are a slightly looser fit which is perfect for a warmer spring or summer days. I have already worn this dress again with flats and can’t wait to pair the tank with white denim shorts for a weekend brunch look around the city! Would love to hear your thoughts on chambray, is it something you enjoy wearing often? What is your favorite way to style it?
