WINTER NEUTRALS
February 15, 2017

Some say it is a NYC thing, but I always gravitate towards blacks and greys during the winter months. It is a color that virtually looks good on everyone, easy to style and pair pieces together, and can go from casual to dressed up with the switch of a shoe. I’ve talked before how that the majority of my shoes and accessories are neutrals, and this cross body bag and these booties from Sole Society are the perfect addition to any wardrobe. Both items are available in three neutral colors, and all are pretty affordable. If curious on what socks to wear with booties that have a slit down the sides, I typically go for the “no show socks” that are cut super low (also great for sneakers). This way you can wear your booties and not worry about if your socks are peeking through.

Hope you all had a nice and relaxing Valentines Day! We ended up taking it easy last night, but are headed to the River Cafe in Brooklyn tonight. I’m SO excited – I have wanted to go here for years. When Matt was in law school nearby this place was a little outside of the budget, which makes going back now even more sweet. I’ll let you know if it lives up to the hype!
