It is hard to believe that we are already cruising through February, but to be honest I am more than excited for the warmer weather ahead! Valentine’s Day is around the corner and whether you celebrate it with a loved one, friends, family, whoever it may be, I know I always try and put together a more festive outfit that fits the spirit of the day. While I don’t wear pink that often, I absolutely fell in love with the pink hue of this mini skirt from Chicwish. The suede and lace detail give the skirt a bit of dimension and I paired it with a bell sleeve sweater and over the knee boots to make things a bit more weather appropriate.
Matt and I decided that we want to stay in and cook this year (as we have for the past several years). As much as we love to go out and eat, there is so my hype and price surges at the restaurants around us that we rather just enjoy a relaxing night at home. I think we might swing by Eataly (excited to check out the new location downtown) and pick up a few fresh ingredients to have an Italian theme meal. Even though we are staying in, I typically like to still get a little dressed up to make the night a bit more special. What do you all have planned?!
