Each season I try and look for a statement piece that is fun to wear, shares a bit of my personality and is a small investment piece. This faux fur collar coat from French Connection has been one of my favorite coats to wear around the city the past few months. Unfortunately it has sold out, but I will share a few similar items as well.
The other week the snow fell hard and the city shut down a bit leading to a perfect snow day. Hadley is obsessed with the snow, and one of our favorite activities when it snows is so head to Central Park, so that where we were off too. I fell in love with the way the snow fell and settled on these trees and had to stop to snap a few pictures.
When it snows are you more into staying cozy indoors or like to head out to play in the snow? I am usually a mix of both and start my morning cozy inside, but when I start to get a bit stir crazy I try and round up my family to head out and enjoy the snowfall before it turns to dirty slush (#citylife). If you are ever in NYC for a snowfall, my one piece of advice is to make sure you head up to Central Park. It is absolutely beautiful and you can capture some great snowy shots!
