With living in the city I try not to invest too much into seasonal shoes. I find that no matter how hard I try I constantly am scuffing my shoes on the pavement. With that being said, I still don’t want to give up the trendy, super cute shoe choices, just invest a bit less in ones that I only wear each season. You have also heard me chat about how I love pairing high end with more affordable pieces to create the perfect look which is what I have done below.
I had the opportunity to team up with Payless ShoeSource to style and share a few footwear options that are affordable, but also adorable. I will be featuring three posts, each with a different look, over the next month and thought it would be fun to start off with a festive holiday outfit.
The best part about over the knee boots is that they can take the place of tights when the weather is cool. I have never enjoyed wearing tights (they constantly fall down) and look to over the knee boots for extra warmth. I love this classic black pair that laces up the back. You can wear them over jeans or paired with a dress as I have below for a more dressed up occasion. Payless carries Christian Siriano’s line and if you all watched Project Runway back in the day he was one of my absolute favorites. These black boots are from his line and I feel like every shoe in his collection is made capturing the latest trends and bringing them to life.
