TIS THE SEASON:

If you have been following for awhile now, you know that I absolutely love the holidays. Creating new traditions, keeping up with old ones, decorating and spending time with family and friends. One of my favorite things each year and picking up a few new pieces for the holidays around the house. I listed out a few of this year’s picks below!

Anthropologie is my go-to for ornaments and yummy candles (that also look cute). I always try and find ornaments that represent something in Matt and my life and I usually end up finding quite a few here. I also love tying a special ornament onto a gift I am giving that is meaningful to the recipient.

STEAL OF THE DAY:

Nordstrom is having an awesome sale right now, offering up to 40% off a large selection of items. It is the perfect time to start thinking about gifts, or picking up pieces you use year after year. These lace-up flats I own in blush are 40% off and this shift dress (worn here) is only $35! I also have had my eye on these black wellies for quite some time, obsessed with the detailing on the back of the boot!

GADGET MUST HAVE:

Marissa just told me about this amazing piece of technology called Sky Roam. I may be late to the party, but with traveling internationally this is the best thing I have ever heard about. Typically when I travel I keep my phone on airplane mode and then go crazy publishing all my content once we hit a coffee shop with wifi. With Sky Roam, you pay the one time fee to purchase the actual device, then whenever you are abroad and turn it on you get charged only $8 (I believe) for every 24hr of access and can connect up to 5 devices. Literally sounds so amazing and Marissa was just traveling in London and tested it out for the first time and was obsessed. I put this on my Christmas list for my parents as a gift idea for Matt and I because they are always asking!

RECIPE I’M LOVING:

When Matt and I were in LA, we had some of the best meals ever which I have talked about before in this post. I mentioned wanting to recreate the pumpkin hummus for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this recipe that I am excited to try. All the ingredients seem similar to what we had while away, but if any of you have ever made pumpkin hummus before and have a great recipe, I would love to have it!
