Table Talk Tuesday: How to dress for a pool party and create the “no make-up” look.

This past weekend was a compete heat wave so Matt and I were determined to find a fun pool atmosphere in the city so we didn’t have to sit inside all day in the A/C. I have been hearing about McCarren hotel rooftop pool over in Brooklyn so we decided to check it out with friends and it was the perfect summer spot. Bright colored walls, great music and an overall fun vibe.

A question that I have received a lot and often ask myself is what to wear to a pool party and how to create that subtle “no make-up” look. I

Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 – I absolutely love this stuff! It is lightweight, helps protects your face from the sun, but also provides a bit of coverage. This stuff by far is the secrecy weapon of conquering the “no make-up” make-up look.

Illuminator “Copacabana” – Perfect for that sun kissed glow. A little bit goes a long way with this stuff. I dab a little bit on my cheek bones and in a “C” shape under my eyes out and around to the top of my brows.

Waterproof Mascara – The best mascara for days that will be spent in the water. You all know my love for a good white base mascara and this waterproof one has just that.

Addict Lip Glow – This balm reacts with the natural chemistry of your lips to bring out it’s natural color. It feels like you are wearing nothing, yet your natural colors shines to it’s fullest!
