A new trend this summer that to be honest I wasn’t quite sure if I would jump on board is white denim overalls, or overall shorts in general. They look great on so many girls out there, but I couldn’t get elementary school days out of my head. I mean, I am closer to 30 than 20 and struggled in my head if this trend would be socially acceptable. After contemplating for about a month, I found this slightly distressed and budget friendly pair and figured I would give it a go. To my surprise, I have owned this par for just over a week and have already worn them twice, once around the city and the other down at the shore.
While I have styled them slightly similar, I have found that a cold shoulder/off the shoulder top (or a silk tank) is my shirt of choice for underneath. Sometimes you just have to push yourself a bit outside your comfort zone and often you will be pleasantly surprised with the results. As I always say, try out a new trend with a piece that wont break the bank and if you fall in love you can go ahead and invest for years to come!
