Table Talk Tuesday: Wedding Season…all questions answered.
It is officially wedding season! Personally, I am so excited to kick things off with one of my best friend’s weddings in a few weeks. It will be the first wedding that Matt and I attend as Mr. & Mrs. and, from what I’ve been told, that makes the day and night even more special and fun. As long as there is shrimp for me and bacon wrapped scallops for Matt, we are easy to please when it comes to attending weddings.
Through the past couple years I have received a bunch of questions and picked up a few tips and tricks for attending weddings (and other wedding related actives). Whether you are a bridesmaid, attending a friend’s wedding, or have a co-worker getting married, this post is for you!
What is the best thing to bring to an engagement party?
I love an engagement gift that is more personal, such as something monogrammed with the new initials. A lot of times the couple will not have a registry at this point, so this is definitely an opportunity to do something more creative. I love this adorable passport and luggage tag set with the bride-to-be’s new initials. It is useful, yet something you wouldn’t necessarily buy yourself. They come in a variety of colors and are made from high quality leather.
Best wedding shoes for attending or being in a wedding?
Hands down without a doubt these nude strappy sandals are my go-to shoe for so many occasions and go with so much. They are under $100, pretty comfortable and are an overall sexy, yet elegant shoe. What lingerie should I bring to the Bachelorette Party?
Every bachelorette party I have been to there is lingerie involved. It’s not the easiest to buy lingerie for somebody else, so I typically spend a good amount of time trying to find something that is the bride-to-be’s personality. I rounded up a few of my go-to pieces below.

Obviously if you are a bride-to-be, you are going to need to stock up on some LWDs to wear to your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette, etc.
