Last weekend I finally had the chance to try Eataly’s pop-up restaurant on their roof, Baita. While I am a big fan during the warmer weather (the glass ceilings all open up), they turned this bar/restaurant into a cozy atmosphere for the winter months that makes you feel like you are in a Itaian Alps Ski Lodge. This pop-up is staying through March and I am itching to to back. They are likely the only place that still has their brightly lit Christmas trees up with adirondack chairs positioned in a fireside circle. Half the dining chairs in the restaurant are also draped with warm plaid blankets if you haven’t had the snuggly feel already. They truly make it so you never want to leave! I snapped this shot and posted on instagram for you all to check out. Luckily I fit the scene wearing this military green cape sweater that has quickly become a favorite! It you are visiting the NYC area from now until March I would highly recommend checking this spot out. While we stuck to meats and cheeses, the other bites offered on the menu sounded yummy as well. Eataly in general is a place you could spend hours shopping for homemade goodies and treats, so make sure to go hungry!
