It is no secret that I absolutely love this time of year. The crisp air, festive lights and all around holiday cheer. With our wedding behind us, I find myself with so much more free time, and this desire to take on new and fun projects (currently working on redoing our apartment and will be sharing that in the new year!). Ā One of these projects was to plan our holiday card. Someone recently reached out to me regarding how to best style anĀ outfit for thisĀ occasion, so I thought I would dedicate today’s post to sharing a few tips and tricks and our holiday card photos as well.
When it comes to holiday cards, I prefer to coordinate outfits in a more subtle way and play off of the colors in each of our looks. Matt has had thisĀ buffalo check shirt for a few years, which I think is festive yetĀ not over the top. So I set out to find pieces that would compliment his look, and to incorporate myĀ red wellies, which I was determined to wear.
With the holidays here and a lot of expenses approaching, I am trying to stick to a budget, so I looked to Gap Factory for a cozy knit sweater and faux fur snood. I wanted to wear black on top so the red in my wellies and Matt’s shirt would pop, as well as (and most importantly) the red Santa hat we placed on Hadley (and what a good sport she was!).Ā I am so excited to send outĀ the first “official” Kremer Christmas card!
If you sign up for Gap Factory e-mails (here), you can get 15% off your purchase! Who doesn’t love a little extra savings around this time of year? Their lounge pants make a perfect giftĀ for the holidays and I am thinking I needĀ these blush colored moccasins.Ā Gap Factory is always having sales so be sure to pop over to their site and check out their winter selection!
