With summer officially behind us and the cool crisp air staying for awhile, I have tried my best to transition some summer pieces into fall. When I think of fall, which happens to be my favorite season (hence our wedding date right smack in the middle), I instantly think about layers, blanket scarves, pumpkin everything and boots! With the weather being unpredictable I rely heavily on my Hunter boots as my go-to choice of footwear. I love how stylish they look with outfits and are also the most practical boot no matter what adventure you are getting into. I have had my navy ones for years, and was in much need of an upgrade because they have been well loved. Zappos carries a wide selection (tall and short) and with free shipping and a quick delivery it was a no brainier. I ended up getting two pairs (whoops!), the hunter green and military red…perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
Matt and I babysat our niece’s last weekend and to tire them out we wanted to be outside for as long as possible. They love to go exploring in the woods on their property and get a kick out of playing in dirt holes their two dogs dig up. I knew my only option was to wear an outfit that looked cute, yet durable for what our night entailed. It was on the slightly warmer side so I stuck with a comfy striped t-shirt dress, piled on a few layers and added my tall Hunter boots to keep my feet warm and dry.
