COWL NECK SWEATER
January 6, 2015

One of my favorite tricks of the (fashion) trade is borrowing one of Matt’s button down shirts and tossing it under one of my sweaters. This works perfectly with looser fitting, chunkier items such as this cowl neck sweater, another Loft find. The benefit of utilizing your man’s dress shirt is that it is long enough to peek out the bottom of your top. I always joke around to Matt that men have a better button down selection then us gals, so borrowing what is in their closet is a win on not just my wallet! If you are worried about the look seeming too masculine, I suggest adding a feminine hairstyle such as the milkmaid braids shown below.
