What I love the most about this casual striped coat from Hand in Pocket is that you can wear it either as a coat, or it can be worn as a heavier layering piece. Often I get sucked into buying the neutral colored coat that will go with everything, but sometimes its fun to switch it up and buy a jacket with a  bit of personality and wearing this piece around town made me appreciate how much a statement jacket can really transform your whole look. The slits up the side of this coat also make it ideal for walking around. Personally, I can’t wait to wear this coat while apple picking or checking out the farmer’s market… or pretty much any fall activity! Do you all have a favorite seasonal tradition?
