Whether I am taking Hadley on a walk, or embracing a moment to myself, I often gravitate towards the East River; it so nice to escape the crowded streets and take in all that surrounds me. We live just a few blocks away and at times I can sit on a bench and gaze across into Brooklyn for what seems like hours. During this time, I try and take a few moments to plan out my week and become inspired by all that I see. This past weekend, I decided to snap some pictures while enjoying one of these moments in this casual maxi dress – simple and nautical, perfect for spending time along the water people/boat watching. I also adore this striped bag from Barrington gifts, which has come very handy for weekend getaways this summer. I’m so excited today is Friday, and for me it’s the start of vacation!
