During the summer I find that I am constantly on the go on the weekends. The city often clears out and there are so many great potential weekend trips from NYC. I thought that I would feature a post on what I tend to wear when traveling and a few travel tips — whether you are escaping via a car, train or plane! I head out this week for my annual girls trip to Nantucket, and have already applied a lot of these tips while preparing what to pack 🙂
Travel Tips:
I always try and make a smoothie to-go so I will be full and not have to worry about unhealthy choices. If you don’t have time to whip up a smoothie, choose a beverage that is filled with vitamins and natural sugars.
Leggings and a loose top are always a must for a day of travel. These Shop Adorn leggings are perfect with their high waistline, allowing for extra comfort and movement.
Monogram your luggage when possible, it helps for easier detection when mixed in with others, plus you (of course) can’t go wrong with monogram anything.
Travel with a scarf that can double into a blanket, often the car, train or plane can get chilly. Fluxus Nomad makes my favorite scarf for this purpose.
