Happy Valentine’s Day (and Friday) everyone!  Today is a day to surround yourself with your significant other, family, friends, and furry friends, and take a moment to reflect on all the love that is around you and the love you give others. 

As for my look today, I decided to go with something that wasn’t the traditional Valentine’s red or pink, and instead went with a more laid back look.  My boyfriend and I decided to have a relaxed night in tonight, and plan to  cook a nice meal and enjoy some good wine. I also had a request by a reader for how to style a maxi for the winter.  I love the whimsical feel of this skirt, and at first was tempted to pair it with a chunky sweater (like I did here), but decided to change things up and toss on a tank and fitted leather jacket, and a pair of strappy pointed toe heels.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day (filled with lots of chocolates) and lots of love!
