Ok ladies, how many of you have had endless conversations over tights? What’s the perfect color, is sheer in, what are your thoughts on nude, etc.? I personally am not a big fan of nude tights, so if I am wearing tights, they are opaque about 95% of the time (and when not opaque, they are a sheer black). Admittedly, sometimes I can’t stand when I have to constantly pull up my tights past my bellybutton, and even worse, knowing that getting into these puppies is a task worthy of being classified as an Olympic sport. When I got these Marley Lilly boot warmers (monogrammed nonetheless – yay!), I was so excited to finally throw my tights back in my drawer. Generally, I am a fan of boot warmers and wear them often – they are the perfect solution for avoiding tights and keeping warm in chillier weather. Often though, I find that they slide down my leg or itch my skin so bad that I quickly revert back to my tights. However, the pair pictured below is truly so soft and comfortable, can scrunch down or be pulled up higher for an over the knee look, and the monogram is perfect – not too loud, but super cute and more subtle. I love the color of these warmers paired with a camel boot and I have been wanting to wear this dress for awhile, but not with tights, so this was the perfect excuse. As you may know, I am a fan of layering, and tossing on a hooded sweatshirt with a denim jacket kept my look casual yet still feminine and of course topped it off with this gorgeous statement necklace.
