Anything that includes black and white, elbow patches (leather ones in this case) and pockets, is usually an instant addition to my wardrobe.  Living in NYC, especially during the winter months, I tend to gravitate towards darker colored clothing and anything that provides optimal warmth.  Although it’s easy to live in leggings and over sized sweaters, I think it’s important to also balance staying warm and looking chic, which, as we all know, can be a difficult task.  I also chose the look featured below because it’s easy to transition from day into night, especially when paired with small heeled booties.
