This past weekend I had the chance to escape the life I love in the big city and head to my parent’s house in the suburbs. When thinking about what to bring, I decided to test out a stripe and polka dot combo. I always try and pack casual and light because any young New Yorker should agree, that you come back to the city with your arms full, carrying every item you shopped for while home (hello Target, Costco or a personal favorite…my parent’s pantry).  Luckily for me, this time around I had my boyfriend in tow, so it was an extra set of arms to carry that pair of shoes I just could not live without, two pumpkins and about 10 pounds of goodies from Costco – thanks MPK 😉
