I don’t know about you all, but I get very excited once I am able to break out the plaid in my closet.  As much as I love this time of year, I often find myself bundled up with multiple layers because I never know if I am going to be too hot or cold.  Living in the city, it can get windy by the water and chilly in general, but once you start walking you can quickly get overheated.  I tend to carry larger bags this time of year so it is easy to toss in layers when this happens.  The plaid shirt dress below was the perfect green and blue combination that I knew I had to pair it with a simple jean jacket and cream vest.  If looking for yet another layer, I would add a navy and white striped long sleeve underneath (mix & match prints are the best). To add a bit of a twist, I left my booties in my closet and chose a pair of emerald green smoking slippers (most comfortable things ever).
