I don’t know about you all, but after this weekend and yesterday’s slush, I am beyond ready for spring temperatures and to say goodbye to all things winter! I find myself going through these “funks” throughout the winter months, but try and make the best of what we are dealt. With that being said, this past weekend Matt (who usually takes all my pictures) was on overdrive for his work and needed to focus on just that for the weekend. I reached out to my friend and incredible photographer, Grant Friedman to see if he could shoot a couple looks for me, as he helped out awhile back with the photos on the April Marin site. His wife Hallie, blogs over at Sleepless in Sequins and the two of they are an absolute joy to be around.

Anyways, I wore this camel cape a few weeks ago on instagram and had such a positive response I wanted to showcase it again on my blog. Even though it was about 7 degrees out while shooting (wish I was kidding), Grant had me spinning and jumping through steam from the street grates, making the most of the conditions! I kept my look simple with an all black ensemble with the camel cape tossed on top.
