Okay you guys, finally compiled a gift guide for the men in your life! I stuck with things Matt has and loves as I still need to figure out what I am getting him this year, ha! We typically do experiences, but that might be a little tricky this year. Anyways, I hope you find this helpful and pull some inspiration while shopping for your guy.

  1. Grey Crew Neck – Matt is a big Mizzen + Main fan and especially loves their dress shirts that are wrinkle resistant and these comfy crewnecks! He takes a medium in their sweaters and medium // trim fit in their button downs.

2. Taupe Crew Neck – I found this (and #13) at Urban Outfitters and thought they would be perfect for Matt. They come in 5 colors (I grabbed him taupe and tan) and he takes a medium. I actually styled and wore it the other day with leggings, just cuff the sleeves! (you can see on Instagram). I also placed these joggers on his wish list. 8 colors and $39!

3. Reebok Sneakers – Matt loves these shoes so much! I honestly might buy him a second pair because he has put some major mileage on his current pair.

4. Rag & Bone Denim – Hands down his favorite jeans/pants brand. He wears any of their Fit 2 Slim styles.

5. Ball Cap – Big hat guy, especially this year with the lack of haircuts 🙂 Lululemon makes his favorite style and he has them in a few colors.

6. Whalebone Sweatshirt – We love Whalebone! Based out of Montauk, NY we first discovered them when out east a few years back. Their site has so many cool items, give them a look through!

7. Faherty Long Sleeve – Another brand favorite. Matt owns a few items from them, but this long sleeve is always on repeat.

8. Truman’s Hair Paste – Matt swears by this hair paste he has been using for years. He has corse/thick hair it and helps keep things in place, but without looking greasy or “done” if that makes sense.

9. Cocktail Ice Cube Tray – If your guy is into the craft cocktail scene he will love these. For $10 you can get this round tray or they also have large squares.

10. Electric Scooter – Okay, this is a splurge and what I bought Matt for his birthday, but have been getting lots of questions about it so adding it to the gift guide. My neighbor’s husband does a ton of research on things and this one came highly recommended. Matt has had fun scooting all around the city.

11. Personalized Toiletry Bag – This is what Matt gave all his groomsmen at our wedding, so thought I would add it on here since it seemed to be a big hit!

12. Whalebone Beanie – Another favorite from Whalebone and I want one for myself.

13. Tan Crew Neck Sweater – Same as above!

Ironically, I started making this list of stocking stuffer ideas on our car ride home yesterday so I wouldn’t forget when looking for Logan and so many of you wrote in during the Q+A asking about this too. I decided to make it a blog post so you could easily reference over and over.

  1. Natural Play Dough – We are BIG into play-doh and this natural play dough is a great, safer option if your little one still likes to put things in their mouth. Tons of colors and variety packs available. This keeps Logan busy for at least an hour.

2. ABC & 123 Gel Clings – Another favorite around here. You can also find in the Target $1 section! They are more of a 1 time use thing, but for $1 I don’t sweat it. He has fun putting them up and taking them down.

3. Set of Trucks – Logan’s favorite set of cars would fit perfect inside a stoking. We take these everywhere.

4. Kazoo – Huge music fans in this household and while he practices blowing for bubbles I thought a kazoo could be fun and different.

5. Fat Brain Dimpl – Love Fat Brain toys and this Dimpl has been a go-to for many many months. I first bought for him before he was 1 and he liked the colors and to chew on it. Now he pops it in and our.

6. Reusable Sticker Pad – He recently got into these reusable sticker pads with his cousins. I like the travel size of this particular brand!

7. Farm Animal Gel Clings – Same as above!

8. Light Up Spinning Wand – This little guy is a diaper changing MUST these days as Logan moves all around. My parents have given him a few for holidays and they are a favorite year round.

9. Fishing Bath Toy – Bath tub toys are always a hit!

10. Silk Scarves – I’ve noticed how much fun he has at these during his classes so decided they needed to make it into his stocking this Christmas.

11. Wooden Egg Maracas – Anything that he can shake around and makes noise is a big hit. Love the smaller size of these.

12. Natural Beeswax Crayons – Non-toxic crayons…we are still working on the “you can’t eat everything” phase, but knowing these are safe makes it better just in case.

13. Bubbles – Bubble wands are the absolute best!

It should come as no surprise that I find a lot of love for spending time in the kitchen. Whether I am prepping meals, cooking or trying new recipes, it always brings me a sense of calm and joy. With all this being said, I have talked a lot about how I have made the switch to many “greener”/”healthier” things in my kitchen, including cookware.

Our Place Always Pan

This past spring I tried out the non-toxic, but still non-stick Always Pan and shared my thoughts this past September after using it for a bit. Needless to say, I am still in love and I think it speaks volumes that I would rather wash this pan than grab for another one in my cabinet. It is just too good!

Our Place is running an insane deal, offering this non-toxic cookware for $50 off making it just $95 (code: SUPERSALE)!! I have never seen it for this price (the most thus far has been $30 off) and it has made my gift guide over and over again for the holidays (hello perfect gift for parents/in-laws)! I have the color “spice” and just picked up a second in “steam” (just FYI this color ships after December 25th), but they offer 6 colors in all.

This one pan is very versatile and does the job of 8 pieces of cookware, is not too heavy (3lb) and easy to clean (recommends not putting in the dish washer). I have loved using the steamer basket for making pasta! I no longer need an additional strainer (hello easy clean up) and bring the water to a boil with the basket inside, add the pasta into the basket, cook and then easily lift up the basket out of the water and your pasta is good to go!

See what I mean below….

Anyways, I wanted to also share the one pan harvest chicken, sweet potato and brussels sprouts dish I served up for dinner. You can find the recipe I used below and let me know if you have any favorite winter meals as well.

Harvest Chicken Skillet

Recipe…

Our Place favorites:

A big thanks to Our Place for partnering on this post!

It is that time of year when all my favorite beauty brands start putting together holiday kits with the best of the best products! Tula never fails each year with such a great selection and kits at every price point. I know how much you guys love Tula, so thought it would be helpful if I break down the kits below so you can take a peek at what is inside. So many of my favorite products!

Another tip: you can always buy a holiday kit (which provides the best value), then “break it down” and make a few smaller gifts out of it! Don’t forget my code: KENDALL works on top of the holiday kit price as well.

Lets chat shackets! Who else is loving this trend lately?! I picked up one on a whim and after wearing it non-stop, decided I need to pick up a plaid one as well. With the temps being on the warmer side for November, I have gotten so much use out of this shirt/jacket style. I even picked up this cute one for Logan!

Below I’ve rounded up a few other favorites in case you are in the market! They are great for layering and my favorite is that, if the weather allows, you don’t even need to bring an additional coat along with you. I tried to link up a few options at different price points, but if you all know any inside scoop of good ones, please let me know! They are selling out so fast.

panda crate

I have to admit, this gift guide for children might be my favorite gift guide to share! I tried to think about things that have been Logan’s absolute go-to over the past few months, as well as things on our actual list that we plan to get him for Christmas. I tried to include items at every price point, things that will last over time (like the Pottery Barn chair), toys that encourage development (Panda Crate), imaginative play, and so on. I hope you guys find this list useful and a good start. If you have any ideas, please share! Also keep in mind, Logan will be 20.5 months old at Christmas.

Gift Guide

1. Cleaning Set – We actually bought this for him for his first birthday and it was a little too soon as they kind of became a slight weapon unbeknownst to him, ha. Over the past few months though he has really taken to toy cleaning supplies and mocking what we do around the house and he has loved using this set!

2. Dyson Toy Vacuum – Kind of goes with the above, but Logan is fascinated when we vacuum and loves the kid size one at his grandparents, so this made the cut for a gift this year.

3. Set of Cars – Our friend recommended these cars and after Logan continued to swipe his from his stroller we got him his own set. Super affordable and provides lots of entertainment. He liked to “park his cars” in the garage (aka under his high chair).

4. Starry Night Light Projector – You have seen me share this a bunch on Stories and honestly this is a hit for any age and grows with them. I have had so many of you DM me saying your 5, 6, 7 year olds still love this thing! My parents have one at their house and that’s when Logan first fell in love. I have to admit, while he is in the wiggly diaper change phase, this makes it so much easier as we turn off the lights and he projects the stars onto the ceiling and looks for the moon while changing the music.

5. Scooter – We are finally caving into this as Logan like to try and snag and ride all the scooters at the park. This one is for real beginners, but I think there is a brand called Micro for when they are a bit older that I see everywhere. We are getting him a helmet to go along with this as well.

6. PB Anywhere Chair – THE BEST MONEY I’VE EVER SPENT!! Honestly though. I invested in this chair after noticing that he would take books and go to Hadley’s dog bed, or try and sit on a little ledge to read. I thought to myself, hmm he needs a chair his size. He uses this chair all day every day. You can wash the slip cover and also get it monogrammed. Another thing you all have said lasts forever and your older kids still use.

7. Sam’s Burger Book – Okay, so I grew up with these “Sam” books and they are my favorite!! Sam’s Sandwich is the original, I bought a copy for Logan awhile back, but now it is impossible to find. I saw this burger book hit the shelves and immediately ordered. If you aren’t familiar with the series, Sam basically sneaks bugs into his sister’s sandwich and each page unfold a layer of the sandwich and you find the bugs and read all about it. If you read the book it makes more sense, but such a fun read and one I remember vividly from growing up.

8. Personalized Apron – Logan is very into play kitchen sets and helping me in the kitchen. We actually got this exact apron for our nephew last year which was a big hit, so I thought getting Logan his own would be cute as well. You can choose all different apron patterns/colors.

9. Shopping Cart – Just another item Logan has been loving at his grandparents, so I thought I would add here. Anything he can push around and put items inside and take out is a hit.

10. LL Bean tote – One of my favorite gifts to give and receive. Matt, Logan and I use ours all the time and they withstand time. So many different size options, handle length, zipper closure or not, colors and personalizations. You can give this gift itself or fill with a few fun items as well. The bags range from $25 – $40 plus $8 for monogramming.

11. Play Dough Construction Set – Parts of this would be too little for Logan, or I would really have to supervise (he still sticks everything in his mouth), but I think it is adorable! Great idea for my nephew who is 4.

12. Panda Crate – You guys know we love our Panda Crate!! I always say a subscription would make the perfect gift. You can still use code: STYLEDBY for 50% off your first box too. They are packed with developmentally appropriate activities for kids (0-24m) and then Kiwi Co also offers monthly crates for kids, teens, and even adults! All are bi-monthly boxes jam packed with activities and learning opportunities.

13. The Dough Project – LOVE this, it is homemade dough that is also edible so you don’t have to worry if they stick a piece in their mouth. All the colors are fun too.

14. Music Instruments – Whenever I show Logan at music class I get questions on his instrument set, so I thought I would link one up here!

15. Kitchen Helper Stool – Another splurge, but you will use this over and over again. I kept waiting to pull the trigger, but so many friends said it was the best thing they ever invested in and I can now agree. This one basically comes built (you just add on the feet), folds up (hello apartment living) and has a non-slip mat. I love getting Logan involved in the kitchen or even setting him up with an activity while I cook and this allows everyone to be content and happy.

16. 574 New Balance Sneakers – Our favorite sneakers that I keep buying over and over as his feet grow. He is currently a size 5, they come in 3 colors and are so easy to get on and off.

17. Play Kitchen Sink – Have heard nothing but great things about this and is currently on our list for Logan this year.

18. Play Dough Ice Cream Set – Same as the tractor set above, but thought could be a cute boy or girl option!

19. Play Kitchen – I so desperately want to order one for Logan, but just need to configure some things in our apartment first to make some space. If you have the space I think play kitchens are such a great gift idea and provide endless entertainment.

20. Spin Again – One of our favorite Fat Brain toys! So many good ones and don’t forget you can still get 15% off one item with code: SNAPSHOTS

21. Push Pedal Truck – Shared this the other day, still on sale and just had everything Logan loves in one little mobile. He has a blast with his cousin’s “cozy coupe” so decided he needs one of his own.

Another month in the books! Sometimes I feel like it is never ending and then other times I feel like it flies by. September through Christmas are the best few months in my opinion. So much excitement and things to look forward to as well as changes in the seasons. Then, seasonal depression starts to kick in and we all hold our breath until spring, ha!

Anyways, I wanted to share October Top 10 with you all. Some repeat offenders as well as some new items that made the list. If you all have any questions on the below, leave me a comment and I will get back to you. TGIF, I hope you all have a great weekend!

10.

Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater– This is a great H&M find for only $25 and comes in 6 colors! I’m wearing a size small.

9.

Nordic Boots– I’ve had these JCrew boots for a couple of years and they’ve been great! I’m usually a size 7.5 and have them in an 8. Comfortable and warm with the fur lining and love that they come with an extra pair of fun laces that you can switch out! Available in 2 other colors.

8.

Double-breasted Coat– A camel coat is a timeless closet staple for me! They’re the best for dressing up an outfit and easy to style casually as well. This one looks designer and is a steal at only $70! Fits oversized, I’m wearing an XS. I also have this Old Navy one which is another affordable option. If you like a simpler look, this one is great.

7.

Knit Overalls– These knit overalls are an easy toss on and go option for Logan. H&M tends to run big so I typically size down for him with their clothes. Here he’s wearing the 9-12m, but he’s now 19m and would need the 12-18m size.

6.

Luka Belt Bag– I never thought I’d be a fan of belt bags or the fanny pack look, but here I am! This $45 find has been a game changer for being hands free while chasing after a toddler. Comes in a few colors, I have the chocolate, and it’s the perfect size. #momhack, it even accommodates a few diapers and travel wipes!

5.

Face Masks– Who knew that mask would become a part of our everyday outfits?! These are still my favorite and there are tons of new colors to shop from! Breathable and launder well. Adult $6 / Kids $5. Would also make a great, practical holiday gift this season.

4.

Hooded Sweatshirt– This sweatshirt is made from the softest, coziest material, comes in 3 colors and is $59! I’m wearing the grey in an XS and it makes for a great athleisure look. It also has matching joggers, although I opted to pair it with these leggings.

3.

Petit Lem Taxi PJs– Are these not just the cutest PJ’s?! They’re super soft and a great quality. Logan is 19m and wears a 24m. Found additional sizes in stock at Bloomingdales and they also come in a one piece here and here. Loved these skyline pj’s too!

2.

Free People Sweater– This chunky knit sweater is still a Nordstrom Sale favorite and a closet staple for the fall and winter season. I’m wearing a size small and finally found this color fully stocked here. (Save 10% with an email sign up and free shipping). It also comes in a few other colors.

1.

Always Pan– You guys are loving this pan as much as I am! It’s non-stick, non-toxic cookware that’s designed to replace 8 pieces of traditional cookware and it’s been a game changer! It’s especially great if you’re tight with kitchen space. You can save $30 with code: YUMMY! It comes in 5 other colors including their newest blue color, and would make a great gift for the holidays.

Happy November, you guys! Now that this month is in full swing I wanted to start sharing some of my holiday gift guides with you all incase you are early shoppers like myself. Shopping for your parents and in-laws was by far one of my most request gift guides when I polled you all a month or so ago. I know this one can be tricky, but hoping some of these gifts give you ideas and help reduce a little of that stress. All things I personally have and love, have also gift to either my parent and in-laws or plan to this holiday season!

2 // 3 // 4. Pura Diffuser – I freaking LOVE this thing and plan for it to be my #1 gift to give this season. I have a full tutorial saved in my “Gift Highlight”, but basically is a diffuser (that is safe for pets and kids) that you can control via an app on your phone. It holds two scents at a time and you can turn each sent on and off. My favorite feature is being able to turn this on when you aren’t even home. It also has a nightlight with adjustable colors. Linking a few other scents here.

5. Face Mask – The year of 2020 has us giving gifts we never thought we would give, such a face masks! You have heard me talk about this new in particular and it has been a best seller with you all as well. Whether you are adding as a stocking stuffer or looking for a small gift to give, these masks comes in a TON of colors for just $7 and they make kid sizes as well.

6. Grate Plate – Fun little story about how I discovered this. I was on a training webinar to go on QVC for my shoe launch and there were a few of us joining. A mother daughter duo created this grate plate and were demonstrating it and sharing how it came to be and I just loved it. You don’t have to worry about cutting your knuckles up (the surface is smooth, but still grates, comes in a few beautiful colors and also has the garlic peeler and brush to scrape everything off the plate. You can also save $10 with code: OFFER and if you aren’t a new customer, just use a new e-mail 😉

7. Airpods – We actually gave these to my in-laws for both their birthdays last year and they have been such a big hit! This bundle is on sale and you can use the same code above (code: OFFER) for $10 off.

8. Always Pan – I feel like I don’t even need to begin to explain my love for this pan as you have seen me use and talk about it so much lately. It is a non-toxic, but still non-stick pan that can do the work of a few of your kitchen gadgets. My favorite is leaving the steam basket in, fill with water, cook your pasta and then you just lift the basket out to drain. Less clean up! Code: YUMMY will get you $30 off.

9. Holiday Cheese Board – Always a classic gift to give and I thought these were beautiful and fitting for the season. You could make your favorite dip to give with it or pair with wine and cheese, have fun and get creative!

10. Chicwrap Dispenser – Another kitchen favorite you have seen me use. Tons of patterns, this plastic wrap dispenser has made my life so much easier. You cling wrap doesn’t stick and get lost and you can quickly cover things you need to. A lot of you said you were buying extra as gifts to give, which made me think to add it here.

11. Coffee Mugs – Last, but not least, my favorite coffee mug! You can customize with you kids, pets, etc. The words and picture go on both sides and just a fun item for a grandparent or anyone! Last year when I fist discovered her shop I bought on for Matt that said Logan’s Dad and have since added to our collection with Hadley girl too.
