How To Repurpose Your Wardrobe
January 31, 2020

As much as I love scouring the web and finding all the fun new items to share with you all, I think it is important to take an inventory of your closet each season and see what you have to mix and match to repurpose your wardrobe. I am sure we all wished we had an endless budget, but reality is not many of us are blessed in that department. Taking a lighter weight trench coat and pairing it with a chunky knit and suede skirt creates a whole new look that can be worn during the cooler months.

In these photos I wanted to wear my new snakeskin booties out, but wanted to style them with pieces I already had in my closet. This is also why I am a HUGE fan of neutrals, they can be worn so many ways and paired with items you may not originally choose. I challenge you to take a look in your closet, pull something you might not typically wear this season or something that has been sitting in your closet for quiet some time and try and find a way to make it work. With lighter pieces, layers are key! Also texture, suede is definitely a cooler weather fabric and when I know I wont be outside for awhile (just in and out of a cab) I will wear a suede mini skirt without tights.
