NYC Must Try Vegan Restaurants
September 25, 2019

Matt’s parents were in town this week and his dad had to work late one night so his mom was incredible and offered to babysit Logan so Matt and I could have a date night. These opportunities are few and far between so we 100% took her up on this opportunity. The weather really cooled down at night and while I ended up ditching my coat, this turtleneck sweater dress was perfect, especially since we grabbed a drink outdoors in Union Square (at BOCCE) beforehand. It comes in 4 colors and is available at Nordstrom…which by the way has the best Topshop selection in my opinion! If you are curious about sizing and my height, I am 5’5 and went with a size small. Extra small would have been too short for me!

Also, did you all know that Nordstrom has an entire section dedicated to sustainable fashion?! I love looking through their section that gives back, if makes justifying my purchases that much easier. If you scroll down the product image page is describes the partnering Nordstrom has with the brand and where they give back to! Treasure & Bond and Patagonia (beyond hooked on their baby line) are two personal favorites that fall under this category.

Now, onto where we ate! If you are looking for an incredible meal in the city, all the ABC restaurants are my FAVORITE. Aside from their decor and vibe being on point, their food is amazing. They have their traditional, abc Kitchen, a Mexican infusion at abc Cocina and lastly the one Matt and I tried this week, all plant based and called abcv. You truly can’t go wrong at any of them and I promise you the abcv one will leave any meat-lover wanting to come back for more (Matt can attest to this). Each dish was more flavorful than the last. A few favorites include the whole roasted cauliflower and the eggplant dosa — so good!
