2 BUMP FRIENDLY LOOKS FROM ANN TAYLOR

pregnancy style

Matt and I were in the city this past weekend and had a relaxing Saturday grabbing a late lunch at a new spot in midtown and popping in and out of a few stores on our walk home up Fifth Avenue. I saw that the new arrivals hit Ann Taylor and wanted to see what selection they had, and in particular see if anything was bump approved! They are currently having a 40% off sale on full priced items as well with code: SOSWEET. I have been getting a few requests for “work wear” maternity style, so I wanted to style a great dress option that works with a bump, and a more casual look (but could still work for work as well)! I will chat sizing below, both when pregnant and not. I personally always find that Ann Taylor runs a bit oversized, so if you are in between I would recommend sizing down.

The first outfit is this herringbone tie neck midi dress. It is such a versatile piece and works well for work and then you can toss on a leather jacket, swap out some jewelry and be date night ready! If you aren’t pregnant, it will be a looser style dress, but pregnant I loved sizing up, but not too much so you could still see your bump a bit and it is still a bit more fitted (I am wearing the 4 and am 31 weeks pregnant).

My second favorite piece I found was this piped lantern sleeve top, which also comes in a navy color. I love the pipe detailing and sized up to a medium so it would fit the bump comfortably. I kept things a bit more simple with a pair of black denim and added a pop of print with the leopard mule pumps. You could even swap out for these sneaks if wanted to be super casual!
