CASUAL HOLIDAY STYLE

Happy Monday, everyone! This weekend flew by with family in town, but it was so much fun getting to do all things holiday with them around the city. Once December hits, as you probably have noticed, I love enjoying and doing all things festive. This also happens to include dressing for the holidays. While you all know I love a good sequin or sparkle, I also enjoy a “dressed up casual” style as well. Pairing denim with a set of heels is typically my go-to for achieving this look, but to be honest my denim I am so used to grabbing and wearing has gotten pretty tight lately (#22weeks). While the hair tie trick has been working, I knew I needed to bite the bullet and finally invest in a few maternity pieces, mainly denim. Oh my gosh, GAME CHANGER!

If you are a mama-to-be, A Pea In The Pod has such a great variety of maternity jeans and items in general, including this sweater and coat (which would really work pregnant or not)! A Pea In The Pod is amazing and offering you all 40% off 1 full priced item now through 12/31/18 with code: KENDALL40. If you are looking to dress things up a bit more, yet still remain comfortable, they carry my absolute favorite pair of faux leather leggings!

If you happen to be shopping for someone else, they offer a well curated gifts section (my favorite happen to be the items they list for a baby…so stinkin’ cute!). It is always fun to poke around and see what you can find.

I think the most important thing to remember when dressing yourself this time of year is to remain true to yourself and be the most comfortable, dressed up version of you! Get creative, wear sequins if that is your thing, or dress up a pair of denim if that is more your style. Have fun with accessories and remember that a little can go a long way!
