Something you may not know about me is that I am an early bird! Up around 6am each day and ready to get going. On the opposite end, I honestly can’t keep my eyes open past 10pm most nights. With the being said, I am SUCH a breakfast person and always look forward to this meal the most. While I typically stick to a rotation of about 5 different meals, each one is just as delicious as the last.
On occasion, usually the weekend, Matt and I will both be up early and able to beat the crowds and grab breakfast out. Brunch is a big part of the NYC culture (and one that I love).
The other day when the weather was cooler we headed out to a local spot uptown a bit. I tossed on this blush moto jacket from Ann Taylor, a comfy pair of grey denim and leopard flats and headed out the door. I thought I would share three of my favorite breakfasts spots in NYC with you all incase you are looking for somewhere new to try. If you have a few favorites of your own, leave them in the comments below so we can all share!
Blake Lane – Located on the Upper East Side this is a fairly new spot and one that doesn’t disappoint. From their fresh squeezed juices, to their breakfast tacos, they have a little something for everyone.
Bluestone Lane – Sounds similar to the first place, but this restaurant has spots all over Manhattan and is an Australian style coffee shop and cafe! My two favorite locations are the West Village and the Upper East Side. Hands down one the of the best almond milk lattes and avocado toast spots in the city!
Rosemary’s – Also located down in the West Village, I absolutely love this spot, their decor and seasonal farm-to-table menu. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have such a yummy breakfast menu to choose from. All their vegetables are sourced from their rooftop garden and their farm in the Hudson Valley. They recently opened up a pizza spot as well in the area in which I am DYING to try.
