Happy hump day, everyone! I made it home to PA (if you follow my IG Stories) and had the best time last night at my niece’s swim meet. Seriously brings back all the feels from when I used to swim (I swam practically my entire life). Her coach was my coach, so it is just so much fun going to the meets and watching.
Anyways, I digress, but wanted to share a few items that I always look for during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale each year. I am so excited to finally be able to shop it in person tomorrow (I am typically am away on Fire Island during this sale, but Matt’s family took a year off from that trip) and will be reporting live via stories and updating tomorrow’s blog post all day, so make sure to keep checking back in!
The sale is SO GOOD, but can also be tricky to navigate and overwhelming. I try and go in with a game plan with a few items I know I want, and then I will naturally pick up some other items that happen to catch my eye. Hanky Panky Undies – Sounds silly, but these are some of my absolute favorite, but also cost an arm and a leg if you are paying full price. This is an easy item I always toss in my cart because I know I will always use them.
Nike Sneakers (or a pair of sneaks in general) – During the sale there is always the best selection of sneakers in such great colors! It is important to update your sneakers somewhat often if you workout/wear them a lot. It is an item that you can use year round and quite honestly, a new pair of sneaks always motivates me to get up and out and stay active.
Barefoot Dreams – Something, anything from Barefoot Dreams will absolutely end up in my cart! I picked up their travel wrap one year and it is one of the SOFTEST pieces I own. Amazing for travel and on a flight or to just wrap up and be cozy in. I also finally snagged their robe last year which also would make a great gift (stock up for the holidays early).
Moto Jacket – One of my favorite items I always b-line for to see if a new color came out is a suede moto jacket. One of my most worn pieces in my wardrobe and perfect for layering up in the cooler weather and not having to grab a bigger, puffy coat. I absolutely love any form of denim, leather, suede moto/jacket for the fall.
Everyday Stud Earrings – I get asked about these earrings I wear all the time, almost daily. The best part is that they are always part of the Anniversary Sale and the perfect time to pick up an extra pair! I have a bad habit of loosing earrings left and right, so I always like to have an extra pair. Everyone always asks me what special occasion I received these diamond studs because they look that real, but clearly a fraction of the price.
Beauty – Another no brainer because there are so many items I use daily and all year long that will be on major sale. It is the perfect time to stock up on your favorites and even try out a few new products on your list.
A Versatile Blazer – Love and own this one from Leith and have worn it countless amount of times (you will find it on my blog)! The beige colors goes with everything and you can easily dress it up or down! Leith also pretty much hands things away for free during the sale, so definitely make sure to check out that section!
