This past weekend the city was ALIVE and seriously amazing. The temps made it to the mid 70’s and it was as if the city tripled in size overnight. Matt and I took full advantage and walked all around Central Park and uptown with Hadley during the morning and then made our way down to the West Village later in the day to grab a glass of wine and dine al fresco with his parents who were in town.
It is no surprise that I am a total neutrals gal and decided to pair this lace blouse with my favorite distressed denim shorts and the perfect straw crossbody bag. You all know I love being hands free when out and about (especially if we have Hads) and this is one of my new favorite bags for spring and summer. The color goes with everything, it can hold a decent amount of items and can even be dressed up or down. Sole Society always has the best selection of affordable bags and shoes (my slides are from there as well) and something I always recommend for comfy travel.
While today is a washout in the city, there are warmer and sunnier days ahead. Sometimes it is nice to have a day that forces you to stay in and be as productive as possible, which is what I plan to do!
