Happy Friday!! I am so excited it is the weekend (and a long weekend at that). Matt and I are headed upstate for Christmas with his side of the family and I cannot wait to finally meet my niece, relax and eat endless Christmas cookies (his mom makes the BEST ones).
I thought I would take us into the weekend with a few items that I have been lusting over lately and that are on my “wish-list” and “save up for” list. While I love a good bargain, I also love investing in pieces that are a bit more high end, timeless and can grow with me as I grow. While picking up some last minute Christmas gifts on Nordstrom’s site (thank goodness for speedy delivery) I of course got distracted and started adding these designer items into my online wishlist:
1.Golden Goose sneakers – I know I know, they are expensive for sneaks, but I own two pairs and quite honestly they are the best investment I ever made, especially for travel when you are walking a bunch. I wore them all over Europe (without socks) and not one blister, bump or bruise! They have quickly become my go-to shoe, especially for living in the city and I am dying to get my hands on this cute pink star pair!
2. Gucci Princeton Loafer – This shoe has been on my wish list for quite some time now. I think the ease of slipping it on and off and being so classic is very appealing. They look amazing with cut off jeans and my one friend swears by them being the perfect plane shoe and wears hers on every flight!
3. Moose Knuckles Coat – NYC is COLD. So you have to invest in a down jacket that keeps you warm. This Canada Goose coat and this Moose Knuckles coat are two of my favorites that are sure to keep you warm. The Moose Knuckles one is pictured below.
4. Crossbody Bag – I have this size Gucci bag (worn below) and am obsessed! It is the perfect size for everything that I need and I love being hands free. I have my eye on this Chloe navy one (how cute is the hardware?!) and am dying to own this camel YSL one!
5. Chloe Susanna Stud Buckle Booties – Last but not least, I have been lusting over these bad boys for about two years now! One of these days I will pull the plug and buy them because year after year I can’t stop staring at them. They are comfy for walking around the city, they are chic and have a bit of edge!
