If you follow along on my Insta-Stories, you may have seen some behind the scenes footage of putting together this tablescape for Thanksgiving (or Friends-giving or plain ole fall, whatever you are in the mood for!). For this post, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to team up with Pier 1 and bring my harvest themed tablescape to life.

When creating a tablescape, it is important to think about what color scheme you want to focus on and build around that. For fall, I love deep dark hues. Often copper is overlooked as an item to build your tablescape around, but it truly is perfect for this time of year. When picking out pieces for this project, I personally couldn’t get these beautiful copper chargers out of my head. I love the warmth they bring to the room and they just feel like fall! Pier 1 has a great selection of chargers and placements to help add dimension to the look you want to create. As you can see, I went with a faux greenery to serve as the placemat; I thought this piece was so unique and the leaves poking out from under the plate adds the perfect touch of texture.

And what is Thanksgiving without the inclusion of pumpkins?! I loved the muted hues in these dinner plates and the colors tie everything together. Another fun trick is turning these copper tumblers (also love doing this with Moscow mule cups) into vases for the most gorgeous faux flower arrangement. While I love fresh flowers, sometimes when hosting a dinner party where you want to set everything up ahead of time, investing in faux flowers is the way to go…especially if you are like me and don’t have a green thumb! Pier 1 has a pretty expansive faux flower selection.

What are you all doing for Thanksgiving? Staying local, hosting or traveling far? I’ll be heading to Philly to see my family, but we hosting a Fall family dinner this week for the Kremer kids who live in the city, so I’ll be putting this tablescape to good use!
