I can’t believe the weekend has come and gone. I had a pretty low-key, but productive one. My editorial calendar gets a little crazy this time of year, so I had to conquer a lot of work this weekend, but still managed to get out and enjoy the city. I think the highlight of the weekend was dinner at the Spotted Pig, a well known West Village restaurant that we have been trying to go to forever. We were already in the neighborhood so we stopped by right at 5:00 when they take names for dinner and went to a local brewery while we waited. Although I’m not a big meat eater, I ordered the burger because it’s their signature dish, and it did not disappoint! It was actually so delicious, as were the shoestring fries.
I often get questions about the best places to purchase affordable footwear, and my answer typically starts with recommending Sole Society. Their shoes are versatile, comfortable, (I wore the pair pictured here all around Europe the other week), chic, and a good quality, particularly given the price point. Over the years, I have acquired several pair of booties and my Sole Society one still remain my go-to pairs year after year. But I also love Sole Society for their other accessories, including scarfs and bags. I’ve linked a few of my favorites below, including this medium-sized maroon bag that has been the perfect bag this fall.
