Wearing white after Labor Day is generally known as a fashion faux pas, and I am still trying to figure out why! To be honest, wearing white during the cooler months is one of my favorite things to do, especially when it comes to creating a “winter white” look. I think it is more about knowing how to style those pieces, rather than hiding them in your closet until the summer months rolls around.
It is no surprise that I am a big neutrals gal, so one of my favorite way to style white denim year round is by pairing a tan cozy, chunky, cable knit sweater with a great pair of tassel flats. One way to help break up your head to tow neutral look with some color is by adding a scarf around your bag. You have seen me do this time and time again and I love the subtle touch it adds to the look. This scarf from Sole Society has the most gorgeous deep hues for fall, and looks adorable as part of your outfit or used as an accessory.
Also, on another note, I couldn’t pass up these tassel flats due to their name alone, the Hadlee (spelled with an extra “e” instead of a “y”, but still!). Not only are they adorable, but when I saw they had the same name as my beloved fur-child there was no saying no!
