I think it is safe to say I have finally found one of the most comfortable, yet stylish pants to date! The fabric on these cropped velvet pants truly feels like butter and when I wore these for a day of events I often had to do a double take and remember that no, these were not my pajamas, and I was in fact actually dressed up.
What I love about Bloomingdale’s is their 100% exclusives collection. You can find brands and designers you love, but also pieces that are a bit more unique and only available at Bloomingdales. You all know I am a huge fan of Joie, so when I spotted these pants while browsing, I couldn’t resist but give them a try. While I was hesitant at first whether I could pull them off, I was really pleasantly surprised at the fit. While I opted for a tank since the sun was out and it was a bit warmer, I also picked up this cozy knit to pair with these pants for a future date.
Shopping for transitional pieces is key right now – be on the look out for items that can easily be layered, worn a variety of ways, and styled throughout the cooler months. You know I love my sweaters for fall and winter, but don’t forget how easy it is to pair over the knee boots with a skirt of dress to get a little extra wear out of those pieces as the months start to cool!
