When it comes to finding trends that are a bit more budget friendly, my go to for the past years has been Joe Fresh. Whether you are heading into the office or grabbing dinner with friends, each piece is versatile and easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. One piece that will be in style, year after year, is a black trench coat. While I styled mine a bit more casual in the images below, I also love pairing a trench with a cute dress and pumps for a night out, or a cozy pair of joggers and slides for a more relaxed vibe.

They have fun playing around with textures and prints and it gives me a ton of new inspo for utilizing my wardrobe this time of year. If you aren’t sure about mixing patterns just yet, have fun trying different things on and styling unexpected pieces together and see what you think. I find sometimes these experiments make the best outfits! Also, an easy way to transition into pattern play is with a simple accessory such as this leopard scarf. You can tie it around your bag, in your hair or however you would like!

Just the other day Matt, Hadley and I ventured down to the West Village, one of my favorite neighborhoods to walk around and grab a bite to eat. We ended up grabbing brunch at Bluestone Lane where I am a firm believer their avocado toast and almond milk lattes are the best around! The morning started to warm up a bit so I was glad I dressed in layers. Here’s to hoping this weekend actually feels like fall in the city!
