When I spotted this embroidered chambray shirt I instantly loved the slight twist on the traditional button-down. Made from the softest material ever, this piece is sure to be a wardrobe staple throughout the summer. I also think this chambray would look perfect open over a bikini for hanging at the beach.  The weather here in the city has started to truly feel like summer, meaning lots of humidity. So when dressing for a day out and about, I always look for loose layers, pieces that can be tied around my waist if I get too hot, and either shorts or a breezy dress. Admittedly, I broke that rule here and was dripping sweat by the end of the day! Definitely would throw a loose tank under in the future for when it’s as hot as it’s been lately.

I also have to share with you this chambray pleated skirt. We typically think of tops when wearing this material, but I love how different this skirt is. Toss on a white tee and block heel sandals and you are ready to head out the door!
