THE BEST ROOFTOP BARS IN NEW YORK CITY

This past weekend the weather was absolutely perfect (besides a chilly Saturday) and Matt and I took advantage of spending as much time outdoors as possible. From walks with Hadley in Central Park, to dining outdoors, to grabbing a drink at one of our favorite rooftops in NYC, I thought it might be fun to share 5 of my favorite spots to head for a drink when the weather warms up.

Sunday by far was the most perfect day and we stayed outdoors as much as humanly possible. I opted for a more casual top for bopping around the city and, as I have mentioned before, I love a good crossbody bag (also love this smaller one) to keep my hands free. If you are a New Yorker, or have visited the city and found a gem of a place to grab a drink with a view, make sure to leave a message in the comment section below!

5 Best Rooftop Bars In NYC:

Roof At Park South – One of my go-to’s as the roof is fairly large, they have yummy bites to eat, and an overall cool vibe. The line at the bar can get long if you go at a peak hour, but if you keep your eyes peeled people constantly get up and leave so you can typically snag a seat or space at a high-top table fairly quickly.

Pod 39 Rooftop (also known as Salvation Taco’s rooftop) – If you are in the mood for Mexican snacks, awesome decor and my favorite beer (Hell or High Watermelon), this place is the answer for you! With panoramic views of the city, you will find yourself camped out here for awhile.

Le Bain – Located at the top of The Standard hotel, this super trendy bar is usually overcrowded, BUT such a fun place to hang out, get a tan and enjoy one of the most gorgeous view of the West Side. The line outside to get up can seem intimidating, but often moves fast.

Gallow Green – While this wouldn’t be your destination if wanting to soak up a ton of sun while enjoying a cocktail, Gallow Green has a delicious brunch and overall super cool atmosphere. It is almost as if you are nestled into a lush garden with views of the NYC skyline.

Refinery Rooftop – This is my pick for a wonderful year-round rooftop bar. While they have a large outdoor area for when it is nice, they still have beautiful indoor bar/restaurant with a ceiling made of glass, working for any season.
