5 INVESTMENT PIECES YOU NEED FOR SPRING
April 28, 2017

When it comes to investment pieces they are typically something that I take my time purchasing and not something done on a whim. They often also include saving towards which makes the purchase that much more fulfilling. While it isn’t each season that I invest in a larger item (I typically do so when I am ready and feel prepared to make a big purchase), I do however enjoy seeing what is out there and new to the trends. I thought it would be fun sharing five investment pieces you need for spring, a few of which I own and love and a few that I have my eye on!

As I have mentioned before, Nordstrom is typically my go-to when making a designer purchase. Their site is easy to navigate (they even have a designer dedicated section), customer service impeccable and as always, free shipping! I also have a Nordstrom debit card which I accrue “notes” over time (basically a rewards system, the more you spend the more “notes”/dollars you get back to use towards another purchase) and put aside to use towards a larger purchase.

So let’s get into it shall we?! Starting with the three items I own and love…

1.First up, the Chloe Drew Bag. This was my first designer purchase ever so it holds a near and dear place in my heart. I love the neutral color, it not only works for the warmer months, but also year round. I styled and wore this cross body more casually here and have worn it dressed up on numerous occasions.

2. Christian Louboutin Heels – This shoe is probably the most versatile pair in my closet. It is a style that is pretty much works with anything you wear and if you are in a style rut can always be a go-to. This style is the “Pigalle”, I found it to be more comfortable over a longer period of time than the “So Kate” which had a bit more height. I give it to you gals who can rock heels for hours on end, I typically have a pair of flats stashed in my bag for when I need to swap out!

3. Valentino Rockstud T-Strap Sandal – My latest purchase (featured below) and one that I am thrilled to pull out for all our summer weddings. The block heel makes these sandals extremely wearable for longer periods of time and the nude color goes with virtually anything. Like I mentioned before, these are all pieces that I have thought about for awhile, saved for and then bit the bullet, but with no regrets!

Now for two items I am currently drooling over and waiting for my Nordstrom Notes to accrue…

4. Golden Goose Sneakers – I know I know, dirty sneakers for a premium, but I honestly haven’t been able to get them out of my head for months! I think it all circles back to travel and having cute shoes that are practical, but also a little trendy. I just love the way they look with sneakers, casual dresses, etc.

5. Okay, so it is another Chloe bag, but I am a sucker for this style and love the length of this strap! Another item I constantly look at online and one day will maybe save up for. I a constantly wishing I had a more neutral bag of this size when styling outfits and think I would get a ton of use out of it.

Like I said before, investment pieces are extremely personal and completely different for everyone. Some love to save to travel, invest in a piece for your home, etc. Would love to hear what you all enjoy saving for or even add to your running “wish list”. Happy Friday, everyone!
