While you typically will find me sporting a more casual, everyday neutral style, I do love getting dressed up, especially in a piece that is a bit unexpected. Shoshanna always has some of the most gorgeous pieces, especially when looking for a special occasion. This floral embroidered dress caught my eye when I was starting to plan a few looks for Fashion Week. The detailing is beautiful and I love the long sleeve option, but it will also be available in a short sleeve version soon.

As each fashion week comes and goes , I always try and think about how I want to approach the next one to make it more interesting for my readers. I usually don’t attend that many runway shows or share much of them on social media, but would love to hear your feedback if you would like to see more of that content! One change that I really have enjoyed with fashion week this year, is that more and more brands are transitioning to showcasing outfits that can be purchased immediately, including a lot of brands that are at a more accessible price point, such as Club Monaco and Who What Wear’s new clothing line – they actually distributed iPads during their show and you could purchase the items immediately.  Definitely adds a whole new fun dimension to attending a show, and sharing it with you all.
