When it comes to holiday parties, we all want to look and feel confident with whatever we are wearing. It wasn’t until the past few years (hello getting older) that I discovered the secret to dressing for the holidays and remaining confident after totally over indulging!
Between work parties and friends hosting holiday gatherings, I feel like I am constantly on the go this time of year, and certainly dressing up much more than I do any other time. I’d also be lying if I said I have much self control around the holidays. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t enjoy a party filled with specialty cocktails and pigs in a blanket galore. This time of year especially, I find myself making excuses to indulge and enjoy myself…what the heck, that New Years resolution is just right around the corner anyways!
Recently, however, I had the opportunity to try out some pieces from Maidenform’s shapewear collection, a collection designed to be worn under all those party dresses to keep everything smooth and in place. The Maidenform Sleek Foam Cup Slip is by far my favorite piece in their collection. The straps are removable (great for a variety of dress styles, you can wear the straps 7 different ways) and the slip itself is so comfortable. I honestly forgot I had it on underneath. It also comes in both a black and nude color!
