I am so excited to share today’s post with you all as it was a labor of love that I worked on during the tail end of this summer with LOFT, one of my favorite brands for affordable, on trend pieces. When presented with the opportunity to team up with LOFT and shoot their Monthly Edit you can imagine my excitement! This months Edit, features two other blogger gals, 9 to 5 Chic and Kendi Everyday. We each featured looks for LOFT’s new arrivals that represented our personal style and how we take these looks from the streets to work. I picked up this pastel coat from the new arrivals last week – it is the perfect transitional piece to take me into the cooler weather. But given the Indian summer we have been experiencing in New York this week, when shooting it I decided to pair it with this lace mockneck top underneath (available in three colors). On this particular day, I met my photographer over in Long Island City, which is one of my favorite places to shoot. I truly enjoy hopping on the ferry and taking the quick five minute ride across the water and getting to look over at the Manhattan skyline from afar (and escape the crazy crowded streets for a moment). The ferry rise over always gives me a moment to remember how blessed I am to live in such a beautiful place!
