Happy Monday, everyone! While I have been posting sweaters and fall-inspo outfits for a little while now, this was the first weekend it actually felt like fall and I totally embraced it! I woke up in the suburbs and literally saw my breath in the air when taking Hadley outside. Cool, crisp fall air and I was so excited.
I tried to pack in as much fall-like activities as I could this weekend and soak up my time out of the city. I grew up playing field hockey and my oldest niece just started and had a game on Saturday so you better believe I was front and center cheering her on. It brought back so many memories and I can’t wait to watch her grow and develop her skills on the field. We also stopped by an Ocktoberfest/Bark-in-the-park to enjoy some more time outdoors and a pumpkin beer. If that didn’t get me in the spirit of fall, we went over to my brother and sister-in-law’s to spend some time with them and my brother made my favorite homemade apple martini, which we also used as our speciality wedding cocktail (you can find the recipe in this post)!
Needless to say, it was a great weekend and many layers and sweaters were packed in my bag to embrace the chillier weather. With that all being said I thought since it is officially the start of fall I would do a sweater round-up of some of my favorites for this season that you have seen me wearing.
