I think I can officially say that fall is in the air and the cooler, crisp weather is beginning to creep in. Tossing a long sleeve shirt or an extra layer into my bag for a long day on the go is therefore becoming essential. While I love summer and how easy it is to toss on a dress and walk out the door, there is something about getting wrapped up in a cozy sweater and heading out to enjoy that perfect fall day that makes me so happy!
While stocking up on a new few pieces for this season, I came across this cashmere poncho and instantly added it to my cart. I think other online shoppers had the same mindset, as this color sold out pretty quickly, but they still have a pretty blue color available, as well as an array of solid colors! The material is light, making it the perfect piece to toss on when the sun hides behind the clouds.
On Labor Day, Matt and I headed up to Central Park to let Hadley run around and play. Every time we go here we tell ourselves we have to get up here more often. It isn’t far, or that hard to get to, but for some reason we don’t take as much advantage of the park as I would like. On this particular day (probably because of the holiday) the pond was filled with SO many people renting boats (I’ve never seen it so crowded) and the grass was packed with blankets as everyone was trying to squeeze in that last little bit of summer. On that note, we saw that it is only $15 to rent a row boat for an hour – for some reason, I was under the impression that it would be crazy overpriced. I think I need to add this to my fall bucket list!
