With summer winding down, I can’t help but gravitate towards the darker hues for the season ahead. While picking up a few essentials at Nordstrom (because lets face it, I consider almost anything from Nordstrom an essential), I came across this olive, cold shoulder dress and knew I needed it in my closet asap. It is not only affordable (under $100), but a great piece for the tail end of summer and heading into fall. Plus, it combines pretty much my favorite trends right now: all things olive + cold shoulder. Although this color was my favorite, I also really like the white version.
This dress is Topshop for Nordstom, which is definitely one of my go-to spots on Norstrom’s site for trendy and affordable pieces. Some of my other go-to brands at Norstrom include Free People, BP, and Leith. The Topshop line is European sizing, so you will always want to size up. But the good news when shopping with Norstrom is that they offer free shipping and returns, allowing you to try new things even if you may be unsure on the size (or a new style).
For this look, I decided to add a pair of fringe booties for walking around and exploring downtown Albany, where we spent this past weekend. In case you missed my 101 Snapchats, my nephew was born and we got to meet him and spend the entire weekend with him! And I couldn’t help buy pick up a few of these adorable onesies (and much, much more!) to bring with us. I blame it on some major baby fever!
