FLORAL WRAP MIDI DRESS
May 5, 2016

Details are truly a girl’s best friend! If you have been following my posts over the past few weeks you may have noticed that I have been finding and style pieces with details to them that really stick it and make the piece unique. Whether it was this gingham top or yesterday’s midi dress, both have such fun back details. During this time of year I tend to gravitate towards pieces with open backs. It is something that can’t be worn year round so I find myself wanted to get as much wear out of these pieces as humanly possible.

By the way, happy Cinco De Mayo! It might be one of my favorite holiday’s to celebrate due to my love for Mexican food and obsession with avocado. Matt and I haven’t decided yet if we are going to head out for a bite and a marg after work or cook at home. This dreary weather we have been experiencing doesn’t exactly make me want to dine al fresco. If you are planning to cook at home and still need a few suggestions, check out these Cinco De Mayo recipes from one of my go-to sites for cooking. I am typically a fish taco type of gal, but have made the slow cooker pork carnitas and they were delicious…crock pot meals are my jam, just set and go! Also, if you are tight on time, Whole Foods has my favorite pre-homemade guac and pico de gallo around.
