OFF THE SHOULDER BELL SLEEVE TOP
April 20, 2016

Flares and bell sleeve tops are back in action and while I haven’t totally jumped back on board with the flare jeans trend (working on it), I have been fully embracing all things with a bell sleeve. While I typically head over to Yumi Kim’s site for a fun, brighter patterned number, I came across this off the shoulder top and couldn’t resist. I love when brands takes a leap a little out of their comfort zone and the results are flawless. I mean, the sleeves on this top are just too good!

With the sun popping in and out of the clouds, I knew this look would be the answer for strolling around the west village and meeting some girlfriends for a drink. You often found me twirling around the streets trying to create all the movement possible with my sleeves. What works well bag wise with this type of top is something small enough that you can carry in your hand. You really want the top and sleeves to be the main focal point and draw all the attention.

If you haven’t looked at Yumi Kim’s site, they have some great pieces for this time of year. Yesterday on instagram I wore this split panel back top that can easily be dressed up or down.
